Cell numbers
Summary: airhorn expressed concern about sellers on eBay having access to their cell number, as it was included on packages received. They shared an incident where a seller, after canceling a transaction due to shipping issues, contacted them directly and attempted to renegotiate terms, which made them uncomfortable.
Good day,
How can I prevent sellers from getting my Cell number? I have received packages from EBay with my Cell number on the address label . I don’t care about why , I just don’t want this to happen. I also bought an item and the seller said he miss quoted the shipping and could only offer me a refund. Then days later he texted me saying he found a shipper and asked how much I was willing to pay. I refused. Days later he says he will be driving to my area in a Van .. This should never happen. Help please

Sellers can go to this link, and specify the buyer's phone number. Look at the very last option here: https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf
