I'm a new seller, trying to sell ONE item - a new downhill biking (cycling) helmet. The category automatically populated with "motorcycle/powersports - protective gear - helmets" (I thought, well, I guess DH biking is a powersport) - so I left it in that category.
I've now reconsidered and wonder if "Cycling - protective gear - helmets" is the better category - I tried revising, changing the category, re-entering all the specific info, but then an alert message tells me "This category is not allowed for this auto-specific product." ????? But I've seen this exact same product listed in Cycling - why won't eBay let me change?

You'll need to end the listing,
Sell Similar (which copies your listing)
Select the correct category.
eBay Motors is a separate animal, you can't revise between the two. Create the new listing
