catagories for listing my product

Question

I'm looking for help knowing what the best listing categories for my products. The products are gun grips for different types of handguns. Currently 1911's. I'm new at these listings and any help will be appreciated. Currently using

Pistol Parts

in Sporting Goods > Hunting > Gun Parts

@seeejay

The best way to determine what category to list in is to search for the item and look at the category that others are listed in.

When I search "1911 pistol grip" the great majority (13,000+) are in Sporting Goods>Hunting>Pistol Parts , so it seems you are listing in the correct place 😉

eBay will probably default to that category when you list.

Thank you for pointing out the ebay firearms and accessories policy. I have previously read that policy prior to posting. Unfortunately it doesn't answer my original question.
