case exist for an item i need to cancel as seller

I am trying to figure out how to cancel and order as a case exist for item Im unable to send to the buyer. I never received any email notifications from EBAY saying my item was sold, and only later got an email from them saying there was a case open as the buyer had not received item. Im new to ebay and only listed 5 items to see how the platforms works. My dont even have my account/payment info listed in ebay. Ebay is asking also that I pay for this, but I dont think I should. Please advise

Your buyer has paid, but you never shipped, so you need to refund the buyer or ship the item to the buyer.

Make sure the name you registered with on ebay matches exactly to the name on your checking account. If you need to add a middle name or initial, do it in the first name space. My ebay > Summary > Account > Personal information

Make sure you use a physical street address and not a P.O. Box. You can use a P.O. Box as your SHIP FROM address.
