Case esclation
Wondering if anyone know how I can get someone useful to look at my case. I ordered an item and they showed proof of delivery on eBay. I never received the item and when I looked at the attached picture it was of an item that was way too small. I ordered a Blackstone grill. I contacted UPS and had them confirm that it was not delivered to my home address. It was never destined for my home address and that the item in question weight was way too little to possibly a Ben a grill. I have contacted customer service multiple times and they give me the runaround. All they keep saying is that the proof of delivery is attached and that's good enough for them. They can only verify the city in the zip code but again when I contacted UPS they verified I opened a case with them. I provided the case number to eBay and they refused to do anything about it. Has anyone else been in the situation and what did you do to resolve it.

Mentor10 months agoYou need to have UPS send you a letter on their letterhead (not an email) that states that the package was not addressed to you and the weight of the package that was shipped. You need to use this to appeal the rejection of the "Item not received" case.

OP10 months agoIt's interesting that you mention that because when I asked about it UPS said they don't do that. This was customer service so maybe I need to go to a local branch?

OP10 months agoAs a follow up, this situation is messed up. Ebay needs a letter of proof so I contact UPS, the confirm it was want delivered to my address but won't help me as the details don't match my address or name....what the hell. Someone must know something and the buyer hasn't responded to any messages. It seems like straight up fraud.
