Carrier "Unlocked" Phone
I recently made a purchase of an unlocked android cellphone. Once I received the phone, I discovered that it was not carrier unlocked like the seller description stated. I contacted at&t with the hope that they could unlock it for me only to be informed that this particular phone was still under contract and ineligible to be unlocked at this time. The seller has accepted my return request and I've shipped the phone back. I'm currently waiting for the seller to receive the phone and issue my refund. My interactions with the seller have been good and I cannot complain on that aspect. My question is, what should I do regarding my review? I don't want to cause the seller further issues by leaving a less than excellent review. But on the other hand, I want to warn other potential buyers that they could have a similar experience as me. Is this a frequent issue? Do I need to let eBay know what's going on? I'd appreciate some guidance if anyone has any advice. Thank you.
