Car seller adding fees
I purchased a car on eBay and the listing shows dealer fees, tax, title would be added but it was not defined. The invoice shows a $300 processing fee, which seems typical. But another line item states other fee of $800. According to the dealer it’s for the cost of their 22k sqFt showroom. I think this is a hidden fee and not one that is used as standard practice. Is this common practice?

Unlike most purchases on eBay … vehicle sales are nonbinding. That means either seller or buyer can walk away from the sale without penalty. I recommend you take advantage of that policy loophole.
Unfortunately, eBay cannot force the seller to sell you the car for whatever price you were expecting to pay … and to answer your specific question, it is NOT standard practice for sellers to do that.
