Car purchased, seller informed buyer car is broken, refund needed for deposit HELP
I bought a car and made arrangements to pick up the vehicle. It was out of state so I purchased train ticket. On my way to the train station I was informed by the seller that the car's fuel pump was broken and his mechanic did know how to fix it. Seller didnt want to sell the car. Seller does not want to help return deposit. I believe the deposit is held by ebay. I started a car protection refund with ebay and it tells me to email customer service. When I try to get to an email address it takes me to the car protection plan site and it tells me to email customer service....
I would like to be reimbursed for my deposit and my train ticket $63 (ticket was forfiet)
Any help?

You will not be reimbursed for your train ticket.
Go back to the listing page, does it say the deposit is refundable or non-refundable?

Mentor3 years agoEbay Customer Service does NOT post their phone number online because they do not have a direct phone line. Ebay members can only contact Ebay Customer Service by using the Help > Contact link on the Ebay site to request a call back from a CS rep or you can do an online chat from the site.
