Car I bought
I purchased a car and the responder responded using this email ebay@online-customer-sales-center.com. I was trying to recieve my money back because the whole thing just feels like a scam to me. Is their any way you can confirm this

Mentor2 years agoHi @renzoa43 I'm sorry this happened to you. Report the listing on the site you found it, Facebook Marketplace, craigslist, wherever it was. Then take that email and a copy of the listing and you can make a report with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) a branch of the FBI. https://www.ic3.gov/ Good luck!

If you have revealed gift card codes to anyone, likely the money on the cards was spent within minutes to prevent you from changing your mind and spending the money yourself. Once the money has been spent, it is gone. That is why scammers ask for gift cards in the first place.
When you give your money directly to a scammer, they don't give it back.

Mentor2 years agoHi @renzoa43 No one here can say since none of us work for the FBI. The odds may or may not be strong, but they're zero if you don't try. There have been reports of IC3 recovering even modest amounts. Good luck!

That's the thing about a scam. You don't get your money back.

I am sorry but there is no car and your money is gone.
Remember eBay has nothing to do with anything you may see on some other website.
