Capcha driving me crazy!
I can't delete more than 3 things from my cart without the stupid capcha setting off. I had thought I was going to buy a bunch of sewing patterns and I put like idk 50 of them in the cart, but it's been MONTHs trying to delete them all and I get so fed up with the captcha I give up! I even tried to "sign up" for the capcha cookie - it wouldn't accept my email address (which I've been using since 1996.)
Does anyone have any suggestions how to make it not come up so much?? I'm using Firefox, no Adblocker on eBay, I've tried logging in & out, tried taking "breaks" after deleting 2 items. WHYYYY lol

OP1 year agoApparently I just needed to complain here. Just jumped into my cart and was able to delete everything I had wanted to. I didn't change anything so IDK what magic happened, because I did nothing different than my usual routine (which for the past month or so has been; turn on computer, delete items from cart until capcha hits, do something else until tomorrow heh) - but problem solved itself and cart is nearly empty now so yay!

Repeated Captcha requests or failures might be a sign that your browser is having problems saving cookies properly, or else a sign of a network issue. Using a VPN or a hotspot, or certain kinds of privacy software might also cause some issues.
Make sure your browser is up-to-date and has JavaScript enabled (and not blocked) and that cookies are not being blocked:

Try using a different browser or a private or incognito browser window and see if you run into the same Captcha issues. If not, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies once in your original browser.
If you are using an ad blocker, try temporarily disabling it to see if that makes a difference.
If you are using a mobile browser, try changing to a different browser mode: mobile, classic or desktop. Try a desktop browser or a mobile browser in desktop mode.
Or try using the eBay app to delete items from your cart -- that can be much faster than using a browser and waiting for the entire page to reload between each deletion.
If you contact eBay directly, mention ALERT15299 to have your account added to the open ticket.

OP1 year agoI use wishlists extensively, but I'd planned on purchasing the patterns so I'd put them in my cart, just happened to change my mind after they were in the cart 🙂
