Buyer with zero feedback wants to buy a five hundred dollar device. I could not verify a current phone number or additional confirmed public records for at that address from reliable public sources. The address provided appears to possibly exist in Santa Maria, but I cannot confirm occupancy or provide private/sensitive information beyond publicly available records. Should I can cancel this purchase as it appears fraudulent and is not a ten dollar item. - Nancy

The buyer doesn't "want" to buy the item, he DID buy the item. It's not a seller's job to investigate their buyers (which gives me the creeps just thinking about). When you listed your item, you agreed to ship to the buyer once he's paid for it.
You don't have a valid reason to cancel the order. The only reason you could use is that the item is out of stock/damaged, and that will earn you a defect on your seller metrics.
Sellers should think twice before listing items they cannot afford to lose the money on if things go wrong.
Looking at your sold listings, you sold two used laptops yesterday and the same laptop is listed for sale again. They show the same photos and have identical descriptions. For used items, you need to photograph the actual item being sold, so if you actually had three identical used laptops (specifications-wise), they would still need their own photos. Any differences in the condition would also need to be specified.
Is this the item you're referencing in your question? Are you cancelling the sales and relisting or do you actually have three identical used laptops?
