Can't ship orders because I am snowed in

Question

I contacted my buyers but I am snowed in and can't get to my post office. I was late shipping an order once and ebay cancelled and refunded the buyer. I don't want this to happen or to get penalized. I can't get ahold of anybody or get help online.

eBay is protecting Sellers affected by major weather events:

Here is a link to an eBay announcement explaining that Seller protections are in place and will protect you during a severe weather event like we have had with Winter Storm Fern. You can message your customers and let them know there will be a possible delay in shipping.

eBay is monitoring areas of the country and will be protecting the accounts of sellers in affected areas by extending the delivery estimates for packages. So if you are getting a lot of snow or ice you are most likely already protected.
