OP1 year agoIs it not Ebay's responsibility to make sure their pages work across the many vast options of browsers / versions. Nothing changed on my end. Can't respond to clients or facilitate sales due to change in messages - poor IT Tech roll-out of new pages = always glitches with updates - our job to point out when it effects our ability to work = their job to fix it.

eBay is not here; this is a user forum. If you were expecting eBay to fix things for you just because you posted here, you will likely be very disappointed.
Messages are working for me. I have not noticed any complaints from users about not being able to read messages here on the community boards, other than some complaints from users unfamiliar with sending messages using the new format.
If you are having problems, it might be worth trying a few different things to see if that makes a difference, if you actually want to communicate with your clients or facilitate your transactions.
Just because you did not make any explicit changes does not mean that nothing has changed on your end. Operating systems update; browsers update; add-ons update; cookies update; caches update, quite often without needing user intervention.
eBay recommends using the latest available version of several popular browsers. eBay may or may not work with other versions or other browsers; some features may or may not work depending on your personal settings, history, profile, and add-ons.
