So it's not possible to me message a buyer after a sale is completed?
My PayPal funds are in limbo because I didn't use tape the eBay tracking system and they're label premises and I just went to the post office and mailed the **bleep** thing but now the guy's got it and he he paid me and he's got his neck but he didn't tell eBay that he got it and there's no way I could contact him to tell to tell him to tell eBay!

eBay will pay a seller even if the seller does not use eBay shipping labels or provide tracking, though it may take longer than if tracking is used.
But eBay will not use PayPal to pay sellers; eBay sends funds directly to a checking account using ACH transfer.
New sellers should be prepared for eBay to hold payments for up to thirty days.
You should be able to send a message to a buyer. What happens when you try?

OP1 year agoI get to the messaging system and I don't see a way of creating a message to send.
This experience with PayPal eBay has been absolutely nightmarish and I still don't have my money no matter what I do I called the Philippines I called you guys I did messaging I gave them all the possible information she could possibly give for a bank transfer I gave you routing numbers I gave you passwords you still don't fix it

eBay does not use PayPal to pay sellers; sellers are paid by a transfer to the seller's checking account. The name and street address for the checking account must match the name and address of the eBay account exactly, character for character.

You should be able to use the "contact" link to send a message to the buyer.
If you are having problems entering your message text, try clicking on the "Send message" text to start typing your message.

OP1 year agoListen to this one I tried to get the money out and I accidentally put money the other direction from my bank and now since it's in the account I can't get the money back I can't reverse the The exchange I accidentally put money into the in the PayPal from a bank account but since the PayPal account is not approved I can't get the money back to my bank it's ridiculous

OP1 year agoI gave all parties all passwords all routing numbers all account numbers all secret numbers all dates all the expiration dates all this stuff and I still don't have an answer this has been a week at least

OP1 year agoDon't you have a system where you know where the money is and how long it takes and all this wait 30 days maybe do this maybe you can you run a company like that

OP1 year agoWhy can't you put pictures here why can't you normally send a link here you can't so I have to use HTML to get a picture to appear how you supposed to do that I took a screenshot of the guy I want to contact but since I can't put a picture here it's not helping me very much how do you do that how do you put a picture here from my phone you can't do it can you

OP1 year agoI also like the way that PayPal takes their money for it's trying to do a transfer they take the money from the account that they say is bad and use the money for the for their fee but don't give you the money!

Read this slowly several times:
PayPal has NOTHING to do with a seller being paid.
The buyer has NOTHING to do with a seller getting paid.
We’re all just beating a dead horse now.

OP1 year agoHey I guess it's not your fault although you're the one that's supposed to fix this but you've created a system that's impossible to use because you know the in the ins and outs of your system you know the exact things that you have to do but people aren't exact the real world doesn't work that way sometimes the internet's slow sometimes people's phones don't work I can't use the texting verification because I don't have a cell phone connection I have a internet phone so it doesn't work you see you set up too many roadblocks you just assume everyone's a criminal it's just you can't run a business that way just the world doesn't work that way that the world is not a perfect place

·1 year agoMessaging the buyer isn’t going to change anything about you being paid. They don’t have anything to do with that.
Do you have a checking account linked to eBay? Did you provide your social security number? You must do those things to be paid. And as a new seller, you can expect a payment hold of up to 30 days.
