cant make bids

Question

i cant make bids, every time it ask me for payment method. i set everything up in my preferences. i went back in my messages to see if i had a lock on my account but cannot find anything saying so.

I tried making bids from different computers and even my phone..... some help would be appreciated

Do you have a payment method specified specifically for "offers and auctions" showing in green on your Payments page here?

If you have that set and you still cannot place a bid, try adding a new payment method. Your current payment method may not be working for bids.

If you are a seller, try selecting "spendable funds" as a payment source; some sellers have had luck selecting that, then selecting another payment source.
