Can't combine purchases for international shipping
Hi, first time trying this. Usually I can sort things out but this has me frustrated.
Last night a buyer from France bid & won 8 auctions. I do not have any international shipping on my listings except eBay International Shipping where I send to their reshipper.
It won't let me combine these items. I can go to Orders Eligible for Combined Purchases as usual, and when I click it the response is "Invoices can't be sent for international orders". What?!
I am told by the buyer who has not paid that it charges him over $200 for shipping and there doesn't seem to be anything he can do on his end either. All of that extra shipping money would go to eBay so I couldn't even refund him the excess.
Please help.

OP3 years agoI think it has to do with the eBay International Shipping settings, which I didn't know about.
I have tried to enable combined shipping in those preferences, but I still can't combine them manually. So I am hoping when I hear back from the buyer that it can be combined as one on their end but I'm not sure.
Any other input still welcome.

Click on "Contact us".
Add 'agent' in the chat box that pops up.
Make a choice for a chat or a call to you.

OP3 years agoThat's the next thing I'll do if allowing combined purchases in those settings didn't work. I am going to message the buyer back in a little bit after my morning coffee, and then wait to hear if it changed his automated invoicing on his end. Thank you for the link.

OP3 years agoThank you for responding, but if that had worked I wouldn't be here. The response again is "Invoices can't be sent for international orders". From the orders page I can neither conbine nor invoice for these sold items.
