can’t change shipping option
someone bought an item i had for sale and they selected usps ground advantage for shipping because they are deployed right now and only usps will ship to them. but when i go to print the shipping label it only has FedEx as shipping options, and FedEx keeps saying error.

Mentor4 months ago@disneyshopper. Since they are a new seller they are most likely using the basic label page which has limited options.
Changing to advanced label page has all the shipping options shown to choose from.

OP4 months agoi wish i could send a photo of what i see. everything shows usps ground was chosen as the shipping option but the only labels that show up are fedex home delivery, fedex 2 day, fedex standard overnight and fedex priority overnight.

Mentor4 months ago@sierod58 Look on the upper right of the label page. Does it say switch to advanced?
If it does then click that. Then you should see more shipping options.
If it doesn't then buy the shipping label on Pirateship.com as they charge the same price as eBay.
You have the buyers address on the label page correct?
Once you buy the label on Pirateship then you need to make sure that the tracking uploads to eBay. You can choose to link your eBay account or you can manually add the tracking to the sold item.
One other thing that you will probably need is a HS Tariff code since the item may be shipped outside the US once it reaches the military address.
You can use this site to look up the tariff code. Try to describe the item in basic terms.

OP4 months agoif i use pirate ship, will i still be reimbursed for the shipping cost if the buyer paid for shipping?

Mentor4 months ago@sierod58 Yes, you will have to pay for the label on pirateship. The buyers payment for the label will be included in your payout.

Mentor4 months ago@sierod58. The sold item only has USPS for shipping.
A buyer can only select the shipping method offered on the listing.
Select switch to advanced shipping on the upper right of the label page so that you have more options.
Then select USPS ground advantage as the shipping method.
