CAN'T CHANGE FORMAT TO BUY IT NOW
Summary: fabricsforeveryone305 is experiencing difficulty creating a fixed-price listing for upholstery fabric, as the listing tool only offers an auction format. They seek assistance in enabling the 'Buy It Now' option to allow customers to purchase by yard and request verification of any account restrictions or category limitations. They inquire if the issue could be with the draft or eBay's system and offer to provide screenshots for clarification.
Hello ,
I am having an issue creating a new listing for upholstery fabric.
I need to create a Fixed Price / Buy It Now listing, but under the Pricing section, the Format dropdown only shows “Auction.” There is no Buy It Now or Fixed Price option available at all.
I have checked the additional pricing options as well, and I am still unable to select Buy It Now.
I am selling upholstery fabric that is 54 inches wide, and I have approximately 20 continuous yards available. My goal is to create a fixed-price listing rather than an auction, and I may need to allow customers to purchase the fabric by quantity/yard.
The Quantity field is currently grayed out and locked at 1 because the listing is being forced into Auction format.
I have already tried changing the Format dropdown, but Auction is literally the only option displayed.
Could you please check:
Whether there is a restriction on my seller account preventing Fixed Price / Buy It Now listings.
Whether the fabric category I selected is incorrectly restricting the listing to Auction.
Whether there is an issue with this particular listing draft or eBay's listing tool.
How I can enable Fixed Price / Buy It Now with multiple quantity for this fabric.
Whether you can correct or reset the listing format from your end.
I can provide screenshots showing that the Format dropdown only contains Auction.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best,
Iovanna
