Can't change but it now price

Question

I went into my item that is in auction and has a buy it now.

I wanted to lower the price, but it's all grayed out. Then I tried to simply lower the buy it now price but it's grayed out also. So I unchecked the buy it now price and the current BIN price then disappeared . I checked it back on, but the price box is still grayed out. When I try to get out of edit, it warns me I have no Buy it Now price and I should correct it. But I cannot.

I don't see any active listings under the user ID you are posting with. The BIN price must be at least 30% higher than the minimum bid price. Once a bid has been placed, you cannot change the BIN price.
