CANNOT CONTACT SELLER THROUGH EBAY
BOUGHT CUMMINS PART, PART WENT BAD, FOUND OUT PART IS NOT CUMMINS PART, SELLER WARRANTY WAS ONE YEAR, EBAY NOR I CAN CONTACT SELLER, EBAY WILL NOT REFUND BECAUSE 60 DAYS, CUMMINS WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTY BECAUSE COUNTERFEIT PART

OP5 months agoI just got burnt for the second time with counterfeit parts. eBay takes the position of not contacting seller seller will not respond to either one of us. Is this just a policy of ebay

·5 months agoNo need to contact anyone, use the MBG.
Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

OP5 months agoWHAT CAN YOU DO WHEN EBAY CANNOT CONTACT SELLER AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU SELLERS ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER? BOUGHT COUNTERFEIT PARTS AND THEY DELETED SELLER BUT I AM LEFT WITHOUT REFUND.

I am sorry that happened! You can open a return request without being able to chat with the seller.
You should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Different from what I ordered > Didn't Match Description" if the item you got was not what was shown and described.

Do not close your return request until you either have your refund in hand or you have the replacement item. Do not close it because the seller promises you something.
After 2 - 3 days, you will be able to click 'Ask eBay to Step In' in the return case, then you will get your refund.

OP5 months agoI HAVE OPENED EVERYTHING AND EVEN TALKED TO THE CEO. NO ONE CAN CONTACT SELLER. ALL THE SELLER HAS TO DO I NOT RESPOND AND IT ALL GETS SWEPT UNDER THE RUG.

OP5 months agoGUESS YOU NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS THANKS FOR TRYING. YOU CANNOT CONTACT DIRECTLY WITH SELLER. AFTER 30 DAYS EBAY SAYS ITS YOUR PROBLEM GO LEGAL . THEY WILL NOT GIVE SELLERS INFO. EVEN THOUGH YOU PROVE COUNTERFEIT EBAY DOES NOTHING

- Find your item, click on "View Order Details" (it may be in "More Actions")
- Click "Printer Friendly Page" in the Upper Right Corner
- Then Click the Printer Icon to Print

·5 months agoAre you past the 30 day MBG? If not, just return the item as an INAD case.
Are we talking about a counterfeit item or an after market? I doubt a counterfeit tem would have a warranty, an after market might, but usually they are of no value on ebay unless purchased from an authorized dealer. You always have your payment source to go to for help, too

·5 months agoSounds exactly like you are assuming there is any warranty on an Ebay purchase after more than 30 days from delivery.
You are probably buying the wrong stuff on the wrong site for that to be a valid assumption. If the warranty is important, you should consider where to buy and it is probably somewhere else.

As far as this site is concerned, anything offered beyond ebay's 30 day protection is hearsay at best, unless purchased through an authorized dealer or manufacturer. Many sellers on ebay purchase 'new in box' items at garage sales or retail close outs.... 99.9% of the time a manufacturer will essentially tell you to pound sand if you try to get their product warrantied under these circumstances, due to the fact that you're not the original purchaser. Whether real or counterfeit, ebay's 30 day rule is your protection. No one should count on anything beyond that in these circumstances.

·5 months agoWhen I buy an item and want a warranty, I buy through an authorized dealer for the manufacture.
Most of the sellers on sites like Ebay are not authorized dealers and the warranties are pretty much worthless.

I suggest you file a credit card chargeback citing the item not being as described... ie isn't cummins.

OP5 months agoDID THAT , YOU HAVE NOTHING TO GIVE THEM. INVOICE DOESNT DO ANY GOOD. PICS DONT DO ANY GOOD. YEAR AGO, SAME THING HAPPENED WITH DEWALT BATTERIES. SENT OFF TO DEWALT, HAD ALL PAPERW ORK FROM DEWALT STATING COUNTERFEIT WITH PICS INCLUDING WHY AND STILL EBAY DID NOTHING. REALLY CRAZY THEY ALLOW SELLER SO SELL COUNTERFEIT. I EVEN QUESTIONED OTHER SELLERS NOW THAT I KNOW THEY ARE COUNTERFIET AND AT LEAST THEY TOLD YOU UP FRONT THEY ARE AFTERMARKET OR JUST AS GOOD BUT THEY ARE NOT OE.

For the first 30 days, you can contact eBay, after that contact your credit card, paypal or whoever you used to pay for the item.
