Cannot appeal - says case closed - opened today and closed today
The auction item I received - I paid over $370 ... and it is a woman's vest - not a men's vest. Clearly listed as a men's vest and sold as such in the listing.
I simply want to return it ... I have over 2900+ feedbacks. So, only maybe returned like 5 items in entire time I've been on eBay. I tried to open a return - seller denied. But, case immediately closed, and when I try to appeal, says case closed - not appealable.
Trying to contact agent with no luck. If it was $20 - maybe I would just deal with the loss; but, this is not right.

Mentor10 months agoIt sounds like you chose a reason that was considered "Buyer Fault" rather than seller fault. This is easily done.
If you said it "does not fit" that is considered a buyer reason and if the seller does not accept returns, they can close the case.
If instead, you choose, not as described, description not accurate, wrong item received, that is a seller fault and the seller would have no choice but to accept the return, pay for the label and refund you in full.
At this point, eBay will not allow you to open a new return. Instead, you will have to go to your funding source to see if they can help you.
