I accepted an offer, but the buyer wanted two not one.

We cancelled the order, but the item has yet to show back up on the listing and I cannot modify the listing.

How long does it take to refresh?

Hi @mkorneisel

If the Buyer paid and you cancelled the order via eBay's cancellation flow you will need to use the Relist function on the drop down menu on that item in your Sold file OR use a Sell Similar feature that creates a duplicate listing from the original listing.

I am not sure if the Offer flow allows an offer to be made for more than one item on a Quantity listing so you may have to Edit the listing and make it for TWO instead of ONE so you and the Buyer can work out the offer.

Thank you mr_lincoln,

I did finally get a call back from customer support.

They confirmed the cancellation for myself and buyer, but that does not stop the timer on the sellers counteroffer option, so I would have had to wait for 2 more days.

As you mentioned, they were also unsure if a buyer could list multiples in an offer.

So, I did as you suggested and relisted the item as a quantity of two and priced accordingly.

Appreciate the quick response.

You are more than welcome ... the Sell Similar function lets you bypass the offer wait time and then Edit the listing for 2 instead of one.

I've done that on Unpaid Auctions where I have a high confidence that the winning bidder will not pay. I just use the Sell Similar and launch a new auction listing. Then if the original buyer pays (which has never happened LOL) I just End the duplicate listing.
