Cancelling order at sellers request
I bought a fairly expensive bracelet. A few days later the seller contacted me and stated "We cannot ship the order now, due to the stuation in Israel. Please cancel the order.I will let you know when to reorder.Best regards" I put in a cancellation request a few days ago. I go to my order history and this transaction now states "The seller has refused to cancel this order". My last two messages to them have gone unanswered.
What are my options now? I can't seem to get help from Ebay, everything just leads to different articles.

Here's what to do...
Check the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History. When that date has passed, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. eBay will force the refund.
This won't help you now, but for the future, if a seller instructs you to request a cancellation, 99.9% of the time, the seller is trying to avoid earning a defect on his metrics. Don't do it. The correct reply would be, to instruct the seller to cancel the order as out of stock/damaged if he is not going to ship. If he still chooses "buyer requested." then you can report the seller for misrepresenting the reason for the cancellation in order to avoid a defect on his account.
