cancelling an item
This is my first time trying to sell something on ebay. After I posted this item someone came by and paid me cash for the item. I went into ebay to take the item down and someone has clicked "buy" for the asking price and ebay has their money "on hold". I notified the buyer that this item is no longer available and he is asking me how he gets his money back. I am trying to contact ebay customer service and all I see is AI or the community.

·8 months agoYou are violating eBay policy in a really big way by taking the actual transaction off eBay and not selling to your legitimate buyer. You will have to cancel the purchase as “out of stockâ€, which will give you a defect against your seller account. For your first sale, that’s not good at all. You’re on the fast track to getting your account suspended.
