Cancelling a listing
I committed to sell my laptop to a buyer several days ago. Nothing has happened since and the buyer does not respond to my inquiries. I have another buyer who wants it and I'd like to cancel the listing, but can't.

·3 years agoThe buyer has 4 days to pay. On the fifth day, cancel the sale for non-payment.

After it has been canceled, relist and give the other buyer the new item number.

OP3 years agoThe offer came in on Monday April 24th and I comitted to sell that same day. So I need to wait till tommorow, April 28th? Will the website enable me to cancel it then?
Thanks for you help.

·3 years agoThe website will allow you to cancel at any time. However, you will want to wait for the four FULL days to expire (4x24 hours from the time of accepting the offer). That's why we recommend cancelling on the fifth day due to buyer non-payment. Otherwise, if you cancel to soon, you, as the seller, will receive a defect for not fulfilling your obligation. I suspect the non-payment option will not appear if you elect to cancel too soon.
