Cancelled order and no refund

Actually, you did NOT cancel the order from your side, you only "requested" a cancellation and Sellers can either accept and execute the cancellation, decline or ignore the request. Sounds like they ignored it.

You are only protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date so if the month and a half you mention puts you outside that window of time you will have to pursue a dispute with your funding source.

Here is what we advise Buyers when something like this happens and the Seller does not ship the item:

Really sorry that happened ... the date you want to keep an eye on is the original estimated delivery date. One day past that is when you can process a claim.

You can file a claim via the item in your Purchase History that you did not receive your item one day past the original estimated delivery date and up to 30 days after that. Follow the steps in the claim and they will lead to an eventual refund.
