Cancelled order
I just purchased something on eBay. Received great deal. Seller immediately cancelled order and gave refund. This has never happened to me before. I reached out to buyer to find out why? No response yet. Of course I don’t know, but suspect the seller didn’t get the $$$ he wanted. If that is the case, seems unethical. I assume negative feedback from me would just be retaliated against. Thoughts?

Mentor2 years agoSellers cannot leave negative feedback, and that has been since 2008. They can only leave positive feedback or no feedback at all.

1. Select The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies and click Continue.
2. On the next page, enter the seller's ID and select Other.
3. In the comment section, write "Seller cancelled order stating ..... in order to avoid a defect."
Too many defects, and sellers can be restricted or suspended.
