Cancelled bid because called a scalper
What are legitimate reasons for a seller to cancel a legitimate bid? Can a seller cancel because they simple think you are going to resell the item?

If they cancel the auction that ended then they are charged selling fees based on the highest bid.

OP2 weeks agoIf I put an item up for auction, I have the right to choose who I sell it to? I don't think that's how auctions work. I would per Ebay policy need to sell it to the hightest bidder correct? I agree about the resell comment though-price it higher if you don't want it resold.

Mentor2 weeks agoA seller can cancel any bid they want within certain time limits. What they cannot do is to cancel an auction that has received bids and not sell to the highest bidder. If they do this then eBay will charge them a penalty fee.
