Cancellations from a Seller
I accepted a counteroffer for an item that was listed far below market price. I accepted the counteroffer, obviously. The buyer then noticed the mistake and cancelled the order. I get it, we are humans. A simple typo happens. My only issue is that the reasoning for the cancellation was listed as "Due to Customer Request." I am wondering if this would this affect MY own ebay account since it is categorized that way? eBay penalizes cancellations. The buyer was on the phone with ebay to resolve it as we were chatting supposedly and they said that this was the way to do it since they didnt have enough options to specify the reasoning.
Personally, I have never ever been able to reach an actual person from eBay so I dont know how he did it within minutes.

Mentor1 year agoYou mean the seller cancelled for buyer request? If you did in fact request it fine otherwise you can report the seller.
