Cancellations - Accessing previous bidders when a buyer cancels an order

QuestionHow do you access the list of bidders from a previous sale?ContextThe highest bidder for an gently used item I was selling canceled the order. After the bidding was over, the buyer had several questions about the condition of the item and the customs duties and taxes he/she would have to pay. I did my best to answer the questions. Now that you relisted the item you cannot contact the prior bidders. However, you could have sent a second chance offer to the underbidders once you cancelled the first sale. When you do this the second chance offer will go out to those underbidders that will accept second chance offers at the highest bid that they had made (not what the item sold for). They are not obligated to accept the offer and many do not but some may if they have not gone on to other similar items.

Hopefully those bidders have saved searches for that item and will see your relist.

For future info, you could have used the Second Chance Offer to the other bidders instead.
