cancellations

Question

I got a message from ebay stating the sellers no longer have to honor cancellations from winning bidders. OK, so I deny their request. A- what if they refuse to pay. B- what if they have already paid and they request the cancellation. I deny it, ship the item and then they open a return after they receive the item. What then are my options?

I got the email too.

A) If you deny and the buyer doesn't pay, they will get an unpaid item strike.

B) If you deny, ship, and the buyer opens a return request, you'll be stuck with a return as normal.

My experience is: I don't want an unhappy buyer with my merchandise.
