Cancellations
I won 18 jewelry lots. I received those items and most of the were junk, not wearable. Between the time I received them and now I bid on and won many more auctions from this seller. I have not paid for those items. Question: If I singly cancel each lot will that affect anything on my account?

·2 years agoA buyer cannot cancel a transaction, s/he can only request a cancellation from the seller who has the final say. There is a special procedure in the first hour where the seller is given 3 days to respond. What happens if s/he does not accept (s/he rejects or doesn't respond) depends on whether the buyer has paid or not. Other than that the seller can ignore the request and cancel for non-payment after 4 days, which will definitely affect your ability to buy in the future as sellers can block automatically anyone with 2 or more unpaid item cancellations in the past 12 months.
A cancellation at the buyer's request can also affect your ability to buy in the future by counting to your Open Transaction Limits for some unknown period of time and is grounds to lower your limits.
