Cancellation refused
I made a purchase and when there was no activity to ship contacted seller. They told me they were away and shipping would be delayed several days beyond the expected delivery date. I therefore asked to cancel the order and the seller declined the cancellation. Other than notifying eBay when it hasn’t arrived on time I see no other option. Are there any?

·1 year agoIf when it’s delivered, it didn’t arrive on time, you can open an item not as described case, because the arrival date is part of the description. The seller is not required to accept the cancellation request.s
As a side note, if the seller was away they should have put their listings in Time Away mode. This would’ve put a notice at the top of their listings that they would be away, made you aware there would be a delay in t he item being shipped, and, if they had it set correctly, would’ve blocked you purchasing until they returned.
