Cancellation
I had a seller cancel an order. They messaged and asked me to cancel from my side. I did not. I then noticed that the refund had been processed with the reason “Buyer cancelled order”. How can they claim that I canceled? Why claim that I canceled? Does this make me look bad as a buyer? I’ve never canceled an order. I’m good with the refund but curious as to the reasoning.

Your seller misrepresented the reason for the cancellation to avoid a defect on his selling record. He should have used the reason that the item was out of stock or damaged.
