Canceling order after 3 day period
I really need some help I sold a product on eBay and a buyer bought it but then contacted me and said they don’t want it because they thought that item was new. I didn’t check my messages for a day or two and apparently I missed the three day opportunity so now I don’t really know what to do, and I’m not even sure if the item is actually been canceled or not because in my mail, it says to send the buyer the item and that it has been paid for but then when I click on the item, it says cancellation already exist. I’m very confused. Please advise,

OP2 years agoI tried to do this but it just says cancellation exists. But when I am looking at the item, it says that it is sold and paid for and that I am behind in shipping. I wish I could contact eBay customer service to have them look at it. The buyer has 0 feedback and is not responding to my emails asking if she still wants to cancel. I don't understand why it says cancelation exists but then also says the item is paid for and that I need to ship. Which one is it
And yes, I agree on checking my email. I am a newbie and still learning, lessons learned

A seller can cancel the order for up to 30 days. I would do it ASAP … choosing ‘Buyer requests cancellation’ as the reason for cancelling.

You can cancel the order using the option in the dropdown next to the transaction in your Orders list.
As a seller, it is imperative to check your account daily at the very least.
