Mentor1 year ago@rmjohnston12 Buyers can only request to cancel an order the seller has the right to approve it or not.
A seller may be shipping from a warehouse and can't cancel.
Sometimes this can be a financial hardship for sellers too as they have to front the refund and then wait for your money to clear.

OP1 year agoI did request a cancellation I guess that is what I meant. I don’t have the money to pay for it and I’m going to end up in the negatives if you he cancellation doesn’t go through. I didn’t realize when it said continue to order it would be bought I thought I was putting it in a cart. I have messaged the seller but not sure how quite they respond.

Mentor1 year ago@rmjohnston12. All you can do is request to cancel. After that it's in the sellers hands.
If you don't pay then they will cancel as buyer hasn't paid on the 5th day after the sale.
You will get an unpaid item strike. One strike in 12 months won't hurt you but 2 or more in 12 months will limit you to buy it now only and no auctions or best offers for one year.

Buyers cannot cancel their orders, they can only request that the seller cancel the transaction.
"Ordered by mistake" is not a valid reason per Ebay's Money Back Guarantee.
