Canceling an order due to a misclick of Payment Received

Hi There,

I accidently clicked that I received payment for an auction but when I try to go to cancel it so I can relist it and start again I get the following: We couldn’t cancel this order, see order details for more information. Yet there is no information on why I cant cancel the order. Any ideas?

Hi, I just did this myself, and here is what I know from working with eBay.

1) There used to be an 'unmark as paid' that you could click. That has been gone for some time

2) You can't unmark as paid, and the buyer can no longer pay.

3) I've been unable to cancel the sale.

4) My order is in awaiting shipment, but there is no date, and it does show as no tracking uploaded.

5) I was assessed FVF by eBay when I marked it as shipped.

6) It's not possible to ship since there is no buyer address.

If your buyer wants the item:

- Relist it (sell similar)

- Have the buyer pay for the new item

- Ship

If your buyer doesn't want the item,

- Wait an adequate time

- Relist your item

- Just ignore the order that shows awaiting shipment.

1) Report the issue as a technical issue using the ? on the bottom right of the Awaiting Shipment page.

3) Use eBay's social media customer service to get assistance.

After explaining what happened, ask eBay to refund your FVF, since there was no sale.
