Canceling An Order After Refunding Buyer

Question

Hi! I accidentally refunded the buyer instead of canceling the order as it was my first time needing to do so. After sending them a full refund I was not able to cancel the order because it had been fully refunded. The funds for the order are still in my funds for processing and also affecting the amount in my payout. How can an order be canceled after refunding buyer? Why is that not an option?

As an infrequent seller, you are subject to payment holds - typically 30 days. Learn more here:

If you've refunded, you can't cancel the transaction. (The purpose of the cancellation is to refund.)
