Canceling a buy it now order that i have not paid for.
I did not realize it was not free shipping and they have a no refund policy. P.S. I used a Ebay gift card for it.

Your title says you did not pay but your post makes it sound like you did. Which is it?
Only Sellers can Cancel a paid transaction. You can not pay but if the Seller cancels after 4 days your account will get an Unpaid item strike. One in 12 months will not affect your buying on eBay but two or more will. The strikes take 12 months to roll off your account.
As for using an eBay gift card, I am not sure how a refund gets sent to you. A credit card has the balance credited back but I don't think gift cards work that way.

OP3 years agoI never hit the final pay for it button. Would like my Ebay gift balance to go back into my acct.

Use the Gift card balance checker on that page I linked ... if the total amount is still showing then it hasn't been used. If you haven't paid I would think it hasn't been used.

Your mistake in misunderstanding the shipping terms is not covered by the Ebay Money Back Guarantee, so you will not be able to receive a refund.
