How do I cancel a bid i no longer want after i read sellers bad reviews and doesn’t answer to my messages. I was the only bidder which wouldn’t hurt the seller anyway. Been a month

·3 years agoThat is not a valid reason to force a cancellation of an active bid under eBay rules. You are expected to do your research before you bid, not after.
You may contact the seller and beg him/her to cancel your bid before the auction ends, but s/he is under no obligation to do so nor to acknowledge the request, and neither not responding nor responding that it's OK with him/her is among the valid reasons.
What do you mean by "Been a month"? Auctions don't last longer than 10 days. Did you actually win? A bid can't be cancelled after the auction is over. You can request a transaction cancellation from the seller at your request, but again, no duty to comply or respond. If you don't pay s/he can cancel for non-payment (giving you a strike that counts towards sellers' option to block serial non-payers and possibly affecting your buying limits) 4 to 30 days after the end of auction. If you have paid and the estimated time you were given for delivery (see order confirmation email) has passed you have 30 days from the last day of the estimate to file under the Money Back Guarantee.
