Canceled shipping label
I sold and item and the buyer paid for it. I generated a shipping label but somehow I didnt see the page where I can update the shipping weight and size. I decided to double box at the last minute, so the extra weight was not accounted for on the shipping label. It was too late to go back and update the label because the label was already generated and charged to my account. I decided not to generate a new label because I was scared of creating the same situation twice, so I canceled the label. I then decided to purchase my own label separate from ebay and that item is now shipped and delivered. But ebay indicated that the item is shipped but not delivered based on the canceled label.
So will ebay not pay me until the label is canceled and refunded by UPS? That could take up to 28 days.

OP2 years agoOk thanks. I did that on the order page. Changed from Fed Ex to UPS. It still indicates that is has shipped but not delivered, I guess according to the canceled Fed Ex number. I dont know when that will updated to delivered. I can only assume when Fed Ex refunds the label?

·2 years ago@perfec55 The tracking data doesn't usually update immediately. When the new tracking number shows delivered on eBay, then they'll release your new seller hold and payout. Payout normally wouldn't wait for the refund on a voided label.

OP2 years agoJust checked and it now indicates it was delivered. Thats a good start. Thanks for your advice.
