"canceled at request of buyer"
Summary: g0m0mg0 is frustrated because an order they placed has not been shipped, and they received a notification saying it was canceled at their request, which they did not make. They are concerned this issue might happen again and are seeking ways to file a complaint. The situation also caused them to miss out on purchasing an alternative item because they were waiting for the original order.
I think this is gonna happen again as something I've ordered still has not been shipped. Is there any way to make a complaint when this happens? I didn't cancel. They sent me a cancellation saying that they had canceled the request of the buyer. It's really really frustrating and like I said, I think it's about to happen again.. Do I have any recourse. It's not victimless. For example I didn't buy something else because I waited for the last order to come through and then when it didn't, the other choice was already sold.

You can't force someone to sell something, but you can report him for lying about the reason for the cancellation.
On this page select violated policy - https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022 then select doesn't want to complete transaction. In the box write 'seller lied and said buyer requested cancellation to avoid a defect for a seller cancelled transaction'.
