Cancel unpaid item which I did not received
I accidentally pressed the wrong button and now it looks like I have to pay for an item... I sent a message to the seller that I just wanted a final price. I did not mean that I was going to buy it now. But somehow it worked out that I committed to buy... I even do not know how.... How can I fix this issue now? I sent a few messages to eBay, but they did not reply to me about this. I can not find a phone call to call them... The seller does not answer me too. I am in Australia. I would appreciate any help/advice. Thank you.

No need to contact Ebay.
You must pay for the purchase, regardless of it being "accidental".

OP2 years agoWhat a strange answer! People have different circumstances. People can lose the job, etc. I bought those items many times from the same seller. I have a good reputation with this and everything else. But now it happened accidentally. Will it help the seller if I pay now because I am forced and then forget this seller forever, so, he/she will lose me as a customer? Is that what he/she wants?

Once again, if the seller will not cancel the transaction or does not respond to your cancellation request, you are required to pay as per the Ebay rules for buyers.
Sorry if you consider that a strange answer, but it is fact.

OP2 years agoIf a person does not have a job, where he has to get the money? To steal?

OP2 years agoBy the way, I contacted eBay customer service and spoke with them. Everything was fixed for me.
Thank you, eBay! Proud to be its customer. So, your advice "no need to contact eBay customer service" was completely wrong. EBay's customer service representative has a much warmer and kinder heart and understanding of people's circumstances/mistakes. He/she contacted the seller and the seller cancelled the accidental order. Everybody is respected in the story.
