cancel order as a seller

Question

I need help. Its my 1st experience to sell. Buyer asks to cancel order. I push a button to cancel for 180usd, system shoes me that I owe 140usd, I need to pay fees? and it doesn't allow to refund. I don't understand how to cancel order and not to owe/to pay fees. Item was not sent.

Go to

Seller Hub > Orders> Awaiting shipment

Locate the order. Click the down-arrow, click Cancel order, select Buyer request, submit. You will be responsible for refunding the buyer. ebay will credit back your FVF. ebay refunds the sales tax they collected. When buyer's payment clears, you will receive the payout.
