cancel order
I purchased an item, the money was taken from my checking account, the seller sent me an email telling me the item was out of stock and asked me to cancel the order. Is that the best way to handle this or should the seller cancel the sale and send me a refund?

OP8 months agoI informed the seller that I thought it was her role to cancel the order. she replied "ok." Then put "buyer requested cancellation" as the reason for the cancellation. The seller did not have the product, they
claimed it was out of stock. artmio_7 is not telling the truth. That's a poor way to do business. What is the next step in this process?

Mentor8 months agoYou can Report the seller here:
https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
Select "The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies"
Then "Seller doesn’t want to complete the sale"
In the notes, you can state the seller cancelled without your request.

Do NOT agree to request a cancellation.
