Cancel auction and ebay charged me $55.39 How do I appeal this?
I had to cancel an eBay ad that I made a mistake with the listing. But I had bids on it and I couldn't close it. I emailed the winner of my auction right after the auction making him aware of the mistake and that I had to cancel the order and then eBay took $55.39 for doing so.
How can I appeal this fee?

·2 years agoYou might be able to get them to forgive the fee once, but it’s rather unlikely. They’re pretty clear that if you cancel an auction without cancelling the bids, you’re charged the fee equal to what it would have been if you actually sold it to the high bidder.
