cancel an order within minutes

Question

I'm new to eBay and just purchased a pair of shoes after which I realized that they did not ask for my size. I looked back at the sale and realized that there was only one size being sold and it wasn't mine. I wish to cancel before they are sent. How do I do this?

Buyers cannot cancel their orders.

You can try to contact the seller and ask them if they would cancel the transaction for you. Be ware that the seller is NOT obligated to agree to your request to cancel.

If the seller chooses NOT to cancel the transaction, you will have to proceed with the transaction. When you receive the shoes, you can attempt to file a Return Request if the seller accepts returns (with you paying return shipping costs) or you can resell them or give them away.
