Cancel an order after purchase pre shipping
I purchased some trading cards from a buyer and messaged him two days later to see when he would be shipping them out. I am leaving 12 days post purchase and did not want to leave them in the mail. He never responded but the 3rd day after purchase he created a tracking number. I thought oh it’s fine.
It’s now been 7 days and USPS shows a tracking number was made but is awaiting the item. He still has it but now it likely won’t make it to me on time even if he mails it out tomorrow.
I messaged him yesterday requesting to cancel the purchase since he has yet to respond to an email and he still has the cards in possession. Again nothing in return from this seller.
Looking more into his reviews, this has happened mult times this past year. He has 6 negative and 17 neutral feedback the past twelve months and nearly all are similar complaints.
Is there anything I can do to cancel this order?

Yes that’s probably my only option. In our area missing mail or packages is common so that’s why I try to avoid pkgs while away.
you’re right about the reviews and I did glance at his which is positive but I believe it’s because he has sold so many items. Lesson learned here and I will definitely be leaving negative feedback for each item when I get back.
