Canadian sellers dealing with Tariffs
I am hoping to get some feedback from Canadian sellers. I sell almost exclusively, antique clocks. Since the Tariffs were introduced, I find that US buyers ( about 98% of my market) are very hesitant to bid, mostly due to the confusion surrounding how much in fees they will pay in addition to their winning bid. I am led to believe that items over 100 years old are not subject to tariffs. Is this true? if so, how do you proceed with the sale, so that a tariff is not charged? Also, have any Canadian sellers had any luck with posting "No Tariffs" or something similar in their listings?
