can you ship something out without creating a listing? How can I send someone an invoice without creating a listing? I'm listing multiple discs and sometimes someone just wants one or a few items out of the lot

You can revise the listing to remove the unwanted items. Change the title, description, and shipping as necessary.

Or you can end the listing and create a new listing for just the selected items.

The DVD category also allows variations. So, for the "you pick" listings, it might make sense to use a variation listing so that the separate titles are available in a drop list. You may need to set up a combined shipping feature, if not already set up, so that a buyer can purchase multiple items from your list for a single shipping price.

No! You would be engaging in an off-Ebay transaction, which will get you suspended. All purchases must be made through a listing and the entire transaction occurs ON Ebay.

You can create a listing for all your discs, as multi-quantity with variations so people could pick out individual discs to purchase.
